MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international breakthroughs into the Latin popular music scene. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received an Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song in 2017. The album he released as his debut ADN was released by La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. This album peaked at 8 places on the Top Latin Albums charts. He then became part of Ozuna for the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia was released in 2020 by Noriel and her Dopamina album the following year. He also was in a duo with TINI to perform her online single Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was born into a musical household both his parents are musicians. In his interviews, he's talked about participating in music as compulsory. In his early years, he learned to play saxophone guitar as well as piano and ukulele. He initially wanted to be a vet, but after his brother Julian was convinced to let him attend lessons with a Cuban musician, he rearranged his career plans.
